Aimee has been part of the Franklin Region for most of her life until recently when she made the move to Thames for lifestyle purposes. Aimee makes the daily commute from Thames to Pukekohe to continue servicing her clients.
Aimee started her career in Accountancy straight from Pukekohe High School at 17 years old, working fulltime and studying part time through Manukau Institute of Technology where she gained her qualification of a New Zealand Diploma in Business. She then went on to complete her NZ Institute of Chartered Accountants qualifications becoming an Associate Chartered Accountant.
Aimee has had an active role in community projects, including a fundraising project to acquire and install a liberty wheelchair swing in Pukekohe. This involved many fundraising events one of which Aimee undertook 32 hours of continuous swinging which also gained her entry into the Guinness Book of Records. More recently Aimee has taken on a trustee role of the Tuakau Youth Sports Trust which was established to provide safe and secure environments for the youth of the district to be able to engage in positive sport providing physical and mental challenges.
With more than 18 years working in Chartered Accountancy firms Aimee has acquired a valuable understanding of business in a variety of industries.
Aimee understands what the pressure of running your own business can have on life. One of her strengths is assisting business owners to manage the compliance side of the business in an efficient manner so they can work on what they are good at, running their business.
Aimee doesn't just look at what is required from a compliance point of view, assisting and working with her clients to achieve their goals is one of her passions. This see's Aimee being fully engaged with her clients business owners and their support team on a regular basis.
